Sharon Ann (Nawrocki) Lepore, a resident of Plano, Texas, passed away September 11, 2026, at the age of 86. She was born on June 18, 1940, to her loving parents, Frank Nawrocki and Irene (Medella) Nawrocki in Chicago, Illinois, where she was raised and spent her early years.
Sharon discovered her passion for music and began her career as an opera singer. She was a member of the Chorus of the Lyric Opera of Chicago, where she shared her beautiful voice and love of music with others. She especially enjoyed attending the opera and treasured the opportunity to experience performances she loved.
After beginning her opera career, Sharon married Michael Lepore in Chicago. Together, they shared many years of marriage and cherished memories. She was a woman of Catholic faith who found great joy in spending time with her family and those she loved.
Sharon will be remembered for her beautiful voice, her love of opera, and the warmth and joy she brought to those around her.
Sharon is survived by her brother, Frank Nawrocki and wife, Barbara of Plano, Texas; nephews and niece, Jonathan Nawrocki and wife, Ikuko of Frisco, Texas, Kate Sasso and husband, Nick of Allen, Texas, and Timothy Nawrocki of Wylie, Texas; great nieces and nephews, Miku, Kaza, Nick, Sofia, Eva, Violet, and Ivy Jae; and a host of extended family members and friends, who will miss her and cherish her memory.
Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Lepore, and parents, Frank and Irene Nawrocki.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 5, 2026, at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas, 75013.
