Shannon Michelle Sanchez Chartier was born June 10, 1973 in Panorama City, California to James Sanchez and Joann Jowers Sanchez. She passed away on August 31, 2021 at her home in Whitewright at the age of 48 years.
Shannon strived to live by the motto “do the right thing every day.” She had a passion for education, leading by example as she attained her master’s in social work while raising three children. Her dedication to the care of others fueled her career. Throughout which, she rejuvenated countless senior living facilities, improving the lives of thousands.
Cooking became a passion of hers, always experimenting with new recipes and crockpot concoctions. However, one thing remained steadfast; she was always craving a diet coke. She had a profound hatred for yard work, ensuring it was worth the most on the chore list on the fridge.
Above all else, Shannon was a mother, who loved her boys with all that she had.
She is survived by her sons, Anthony Jo Chartier of Houston, Bruce James Chartier and Derek John Chartier of Whitewright; father, James Sanchez of Livingston; brother, Ron Sanchez (Jackie) of Portland, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her mother.
