Seng Vongthachak, age 75, passed away May 11th, 2018 in Allen, Texas. She was born November 30, 1942 in Vientiane, Laos to Mr. Thitchanh Sivongsa & Mrs. Dengpee Sivongsa. Seng married Toui Inthanam in 1961. She was the great bond between all friends & family.
In 1987, Seng came to America to reunite with her two eldest daughters, Phetmany and Khamsyvichith, traveling here to America with her two youngest daughters, Soukhati and Soukpaseuth. Seng dreams were to give her daughters the American Dream.
She became a member of Laos Association of Providence, Rhode Island. She raised her children and grandchildren while working at a jewelry company. She was a hard-working, passionate figure of strength who never waned in her support or love of her family, and who soldiered on, even when times were tough. Not only was she the most loving mother and grandmother, who taught us the value of family, she was also our super women who gave us strength to keep pushing forward.
Seng is survived by her husband, Toui Inthanam; three siblings, Beng Vongthachak, Southavilai Vongthachak, Song Inthanam; six children, Phetmany Vongthachak, Khamsyvichith Sisonethasy, Jaiphet Inthanam, Soukpathai Intanam, Ning Vongthachak, Soukpaseuth “Susan” Thongkhamsouk and husband Minar Thongkhamsouk; her twelve grandchildren, Linda, Kathleen, Elizabeth, Sonny, Victoria, Nicky, Pouky, Monica, Timothy, Abbey, Lang, and Tyler; seven great-grandchildren, Aiden, Isabella, Aizen, Alanna, Ethan, Sienna and Leilani.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Boungpheng Sivongsa, Bounmy Soundalra, Phaly Sivongsa, Bousy Sivongsa, Douangpy Sichampanakone, Nounedy Vongthachak; and son, Phetsalath Inthanam.
A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening, May 18, 2018 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
