Saundra Ann Cohen, age 66 of Dallas, Texas passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2014 in Plano, Texas after a long and courageous struggle with metastatic throat cancer. Saundra was born on September 30, 1947 in Dallas, Texas to Vince and Faye Maxine (Kyser) Hayman. She married Jerry Lloyd Plummer and had two wonderful children who were the joy of her life, daughter, Mimbi Ann Plummer and son, Todd Lloyd Plummer. Her second marriage was a joyous occasion to Ronald Cohen in November 1980 by Rabbi Gerald Klein at Temple Emanuel-El in Dallas, Texas. She never met a stranger and her strong vivacious personality served her well throughout her life and carried over in her business endeavors. She got an early start to her career in the 70’s as a salesperson in the garment industry and soon was the leader in sales for her district. After many years of success in fashion retail, she opened the “Wedding Chapel on Lovers Lane” in Dallas and over the years made 100’s of brides; dreams come true! She will be dearly missed by her many friends and family that loved her. Her radiant smile and quick wit will be with us always.
