Saramma Abraham, age 93, of Parker, Texas was received into the loving arms of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. She was born March 18, 1930, in Kalanjoor, Kerala, India to Chacko Geevarghese and Mariamma Chacko of Thekkil House. On May 24, 1948, she married Theruzhathil O. Abraham in India. After her marriage she moved to Adoor, Kerala, India with her husband and was in fellowship with Pannivizha Brethren Assembly in Adoor. She enjoyed reading, singing old hymns, crocheting, and cooking. In 1995 she migrated to the United States of America and lived with her son Babu Abraham and family. She was in fellowship with the saints at Bethesda Bible Chapel in Irving, Texas until she was promoted to glory. Her selfless love, unwavering faith in Christ and steadfast hope of eternal glory was an inspiration to us all. “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints” (Psalms 116:15).
She is survived by her children Thomas Abraham and Lizy Thomas (Atlanta), Ammini Issac and Issac Pappy (Florida), Alice George and George Thomas (Rochester), Grace Jacob and Jacob John (Dallas), Babu Abraham and Shiby Abraham (Dallas), Jaison Abraham and Sony Abraham (Dallas). She is also blessed with fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She will be missed by the family and the saints at Bethesda Bible Church.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 9, 2023, in the Calvary Pentecostal Church, 725 West Arapaho Rd, Richardson, Texas 75080. Following the service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013, for a committal service.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening, December 8, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., at the Calvary Pentecostal Church, 725 West Arapaho Road, Richardson, Texas 75080
