Released to Glory:

With profound sorrow yet humble acceptance of God’s perfect will, we surrender Evan Paul Nuessner into our Lord’s loving arms, trusting in the promised joy of one day seeing him again.  Evan Paul Nuessner, 26 of Fayetteville, Arkansas, died Saturday, January 11, 2020 in Sherman, Texas.  The son of Angela Woodward and Mark Nuessner, Evan was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, on August 11, 1993.  Evan had a truly adventurous spirit and embraced everything that life had to offer.  He loved to travel and meet individuals from all walks of life, and the people who knew him were undelibly marked by his joy, his sense of humor, his charm, his kindness, and his ability to put anyone at ease.  He also loved music and enjoyed playing the piano, mixing music, and periodically performing the duties of a DJ.  A graduate of Harber High School, Evan attended the University of Arkansas and was an avid Razorback fan.  Since childhood, Evan dreamed of flying, and he was pursuing his goals of becoming a pilot.  He found his soulmate in Sarah Farr and married her on October 26, 2019.

Evan was joined in death, as in life, by his precious wife, Sarah (Farr) Nuessner.  He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Angela and Pat Woodward; his father and stepmother, Mark and Rachelle Nuessner; sister, Morgan Nuessner; stepbrothers, Collin Woodward, Tyler Coleman, and Jared Coleman; stepsister, Paige Coleman; maternal grandparents, Sandra and Ed McLaughlin and Bill Lewis; paternal grandparents, Ademar and Jimmie Lou Nuessner; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kenneth and Marce Farr; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Stone Chapel at MattLane Farm, 2228 W. Bowen Boulevard, Fayetteville, Arkansas, at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2020.

In place of flowers, which last only briefly, the family is asking that you bring a perennial plant or small shrub.  These will be planted in a memorial garden at a later date as an enduring memory of Evan and Sarah, who were beloved by so many.
