Sara C. Hall of Plano, Texas passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 75. She was born on March 28, 1949, in Houston, Texas, to Nolan R. Cooper and Josie Belle (Howeth) Cooper. Sara’s life was well lived. She loved her family dearly and supported her friends to the fullest.
Sara graduated from Furr High School in Houston and went on to lead a successful career in the oil industry, retiring after 30 years of service. Her professional accomplishments were matched only by the warmth and generosity she shared with everyone she met. Sara had a remarkable ability to form deep connections with people and had a vast network of friends who cherished her. Her impact on others was undeniable, as she made everyone feel extra special and loved.
In 1988, Sara married the love of her life, Daniel L. Hall. Together, they built a happy marriage and unwavering partnership. Sara’s nurturing spirit shone brightly throughout her life in her roles as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and of course, best friend. Her legacy of love, care and acceptance for people will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
To know Sara was to experience her vast love of music spanning from Elvis to George Strait and everything in between. She had a deep passion for and connection with animals. She also had the greenest of green thumbs that made every plant she touched flourish. Sara found joy in exploring the beauty of our great country and was all-American through and through.
She is survived by her daughter, Megan Zweig and husband, Aaron of McKinney, Texas; grandson, Cooper of McKinney, Texas; sister, Jackie Ezer of Plano, Texas; sister, Rhonda Muirhead of Tomball, Texas; and other loving nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel L. Hall; first husband, James R. Delmonego; and parents, Nolan Rae and Josie Belle Cooper.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family requests donations be made to one of Sara’s favorite charities; Operation Kindness or the Military Warriors Support Foundation.
