Sandi Arlise Swaney, age 56, of Plano, Texas passed away October 18, 2009. She was born September 18, 1953 in Gaithersburg, Maryland to Harold and Ida Jane (Bell) Stewart. On August 1, 1981 she married Hal E. Swaney in Rockville, Maryland. Sandi grew up in Maryland and moved to Texas fifteen years ago. She was president of the PTA at Carpenter Middle School in Plano. She is survived by her husband, Hal Swaney; children, Brandon Swaney, Kimberly Swaney and Stephanie Swaney; brothers and sisters, Rose Bell Johnson, Larry Bell, Timmy Bell, Randy Bell, Gene Bell and Melissa Bell; grandchildren, Colby Swaney, Conner Herrerra and Khyla Keggins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ida Stewart; brother, Tony Bell. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Thursday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
