Sami Curtis Gegoux passed away on April 23, 2024 at the age of 27 in Plano, Texas. Born in Renton and raised in Federal Way, Washington on January 27, 1997, he is survived by his wife, Jordan Gegoux, parents Saada and Curtis Gegoux, and a host of loving family members and cherished friends. Sami attended Cascade Christian High School and continued on to attend New Mexico State University. He graduated with a BS in Aerospace Engineering in 2019, meeting his loving wife, Jordan in 2015. While both involved in their college ministry, Cru, Sami and Jordan formed a friendship based on not only their shared love for the Lord, but also their passion for building a loving community everywhere they went. Seven years later, surrounded by the love of family and friends, Sami and Jordan married in Texas on October 17, 2022.
Sami’s love for the Lord flowed into every aspect of his being. Known for his compassion and kindness for others, he made an impact on every life he touched. While Sami’s laughter filled the room, his smile was contagious to all who witnessed his genuine, kind-hearted personality. His inquisitive mind allowed him easy conversation with anyone and everyone he met, but likely also left you more confused? Sami was kind, loving, and faithful, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. We are lucky and blessed to have met him.
