Sally Jarvis Wolfe

Sally Wolfe passed away on November 4, 2021 in Allen, Texas at the age of 80. She was born on August 29, 1941 to Milton and Mildred Jarvis in Atlanta, Georgia. Sally graduated from Highland Park High School and attended Texas Christian University where she was a member of the Kappa Delta sorority and was named Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity “sweetheart”. She married Kenneth Braxton Wolfe on September 8, 1961 in Dallas, Texas.

Sally was a teacher’s aide in her early career, working with special needs children in the elementary school. She later worked in the banking and title industries, and spent the last 15 years of her career as a paralegal with the firm Stewart and Salzburger, P.C.

Sally and Kenneth retired in the early 90’s and moved to McKinney from Dallas.  She embraced her new city and became very active in the community. Sally was a co-founder of the McKinney Republican Women and a former president of the Heritage Guild. A longtime member of First Methodist Church, she was very involved in activities in the historic district and with the downtown McKinney merchants. She and Kenneth were both active in the Citizens on Patrol program of the McKinney Police Department.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Newbold; grandchildren, Heather Lesley; Ashley Burk and husband Terry; Jennifer Fiorenza and husband Stephen; Trevor Duke; Jayden Savage and husband Joe; Phoenyx Newbold and Savannah Newbold; great grandchildren, Tristan and Brianna Lesley; Kenzi, Devlin, and Rowyn Burk; and Joey and Sophia Fiorenza. She also leaves behind beloved nephews and nieces; John Stone and wife Stacy, Rich Jarvis and wife Cynthia, and their sons Jordan Jarvis and Collin Jarvis.

Sally is preceded in death by her parents, Milton and “Honey” Jarvis; spouse, Kenneth Wolfe; daughter, Lisa Wolfe; and brother, Dick Jarvis and wife Sandy.

The family will receive friends for a visitation Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., November 15, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. The funeral service will be held the following day, at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the funeral home. The family will then inter Sally in the Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.

There will be a wake at Susan Newbold’s home; 2953 Moss Creek Ct, McKinney Texas, following the internment. Guests may begin arriving at 5:00pm.
