Sally Ann Denning Perry

Sally Ann (nee Denning) Perry, age 87, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020.  She was born on April 10, 1933, in Pana, Illinois, to Mildred (nee Dodson) and Earl Denning.  Sally married Joseph Hill Perry on February 2, 1952 and were blessed with four children.  She worked as a residential real estate agent.  Sally was dearly loved and known for her crochet and quilt work, painting, cooking and flare for jewelry and clothes.  She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Joseph Perry and wife Debe of Parowan, Utah, Timothy Perry of Frederick, Maryland, Carroll Shapiro and husband, Jeffrey, of Frisco, Texas, and Phillip Perry and wife Lauree, of Tempe, Arizona; brother Jim Gunnigle and wife Judy of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Bob Gunnigle and wife Sharon of Livonia, Michigan. She was known as Nana to her grandchildren, Ashley Hall and husband David, T.J. Perry, Elisha Shapiro, Jennifer Speirs and husband Mike, Julie Patterson and husband Vinson, and Leslie Hartley and husband Glen. She had 9 great-grandchildren: Hazel Hall, Dillon Speirs, Tristan Speirs, Ella Speirs, Alyssa Bunker, Michael Bunker, Luke Patterson, Zoe Anderson, and Noah Anderson.

Sally is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Perry, her sister Grace Skinner, and her brothers Don Denning and Tom Gunnigle.

An inurnment at DFW National Cemetery is pending.
