S. J. "Steve" Boaen

S. J. “Steve” Boaen was born on March 22, 1940 in Ravia, Oklahoma to R.C. Boaen and Lillie Mae Armstrong Boaen. He passed away at his home in Whitewright, Texas on December 23, 2020.

Steve married Debra June Henry on June 30, 1989 and together they blended their families. He was a long time business owner, most recently owning and operating Dove Petroleum in Whitewright. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Whitewright.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Boaen of Whitewright; son, Brian Boaen of Whitewright; daughters, Dana Lindloff of Frisco and Jessica Jackson of Whitewright; grandchildren, Sarah, Brittani, Briana, Brandon, Mason, Jordan, Dylan, Parker, Deklin, and Gracelynn; and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Machelle Wright; 1 brother and 3 sisters.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
