Joe and I spent time with her and Lynn having dinner and playing canasta together when we were all first married. My husband Joe and Ed (as Joe called him) were stationed at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, 101st airborne division until they were shipped to Korea. Those were the years of young adult life. We had children and all our lives changed. We were blessed to know Ruth and Lynn. Our prayers are with Christy, Jennifer, and families. Nelwyn and Joe Lande Nelwyn Lande , June 5, 2021 I was so sad to hear the news about Ruth. I got to know her when we met while we were both working at Northern Telecom in Richardson. Oh the fun we had during good and bad times. Her smile and laugh were awesome and we had plenty of them. Don't ask her a question if you don't want to hear an honest answer from her. She was a friend through and through. I know she's a happy lady now that she's back with her beloved Ed. Watch over us all you sweet lady, we all need a bump from you now and then to keep us in line. Love to your daughters during this time.
