Ruth Ann Bennett, age 78, of Bonham, Texas, passed away April 20, 2024. Ruth Ann was born December 8, 1945, in McKinney, Texas, to Willis D. and Lois Lorene (Spurgin) Moncier. She married Thurman Gene Bennett on May 3, 1986, in McKinney.
She is survived by her children, Steven W. Hill and wife, Paula of Princeton, Texas, Keith Hill and wife, Tina of Van Alstyne, Texas, Edward L. Hill, Sr., of Whitewright, Texas, Bruce Hill Sr., and fiancée, Kimberly Haynes, also of Whitewright, and Leon Hill and wife, Regina of Melissa, Texas; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Lois Moncier, husband, Thurman Gene Bennett, sister, Lois Tackett, and brothers, C. D. Moncier and Roy Moncier.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, 8520 Main St., Frisco, Texas, 75033. Interment will follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park, 7800 Sanctuary Dr., Frisco, Texas, 75033. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 Main St., Frisco, Texas, 75033.
