Ruth Alice (Randolph) Allmond, age 86, of Frisco, Texas, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018. She was born July 11, 1932, in Ahoskie, North Carolina, to Mary Susie (Sutton) and George Washington Randolph. Ruth had two wonderful children, Cheryl and Chauncey. Ruth was a retired secondary school teacher who enjoyed being a teacher as much as her students loved having her as their teacher.
Ruth leaves to cherish her memory her children, Cheryl Amos and her husband, Roland, of Swansea, Illinois, and Joseph “Chauncey” Allmond, Jr. and his wife, Takeia, of Frisco, Texas; her darling grandchildren, Aunyé Amos, Nicole Amos-Jeffers, J.C. Allmond III, Sydney Alysia Amos, Cameron Allmond, and Jaylen Allmond; great-grandchildren, Janet Amos, Naomi Jeffers, and Bella Vayon Jeffers; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and George Randolph; her sisters, Minnie Parham, Mary Lee Sessoms, and Mary Frances White; her brothers, George Randolph, Linwood Randolph, and Doris Wilbur Randolph.
