Russell Wayne Abrams, age 59, of McKinney, Texas passed away July 27, 2009. He was born May 8, 1950 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Elzie and Lucille (Lincoln) Abrams. Russell worked for Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow and Ridgeview Memorial Park for 38 years. He is survived by his sons, Marlon Pryor and wife, Monica of Allen and Reggie Boyd of McKinney; grandson, Noah Pryor; sisters, Bobbie Cole of McKinney, Jowarner Christian of Ft. Worth, Karen Holmes of McKinney, Neva Tarver of McKinney, Denise Ellis of Parker, Glennis Vann of Murphy, Beverly Fields of McKinney, Kimberly Lemon of San Antonio; brothers, Mark Abrams of Sherman and Jimmy Abrams of McKinney. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elzie and Lucille Abrams, sister, Paula Abrams and brother, Gary Abrams. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 30, 2009, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Jessie Holmes officiating. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Wednesday to pay their respects and to sign the register book.
