Ruby Viola Ford, age 92, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away January 5, 2018. She was born August 7, 1925 to Seth and Evay (Edwards) Gautney in Greenville, Texas. Ruby worked for Texas Instruments as a technician and was also a hair dresser. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Wagner and husband Cornell of Fort Worth, Texas; grandsons, Anthony Norman and wife Sophie, Jeffrey Norman and wife Michelle all of Dallas, Texas; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Alyssa Norman; niece, Maxine Travis Brown and husband Denny of McKinney, Texas; nephew, Charles Ivy and wife Linda of Floyd, Texas; many other loving relatives and friends.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Seth and Evay Gautney; husband, John Roger Ford; brothers, Odell, Earl and Luther Gautney; sisters, Fay Ivy and Rachel May.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway N., Allen, Texas 75013. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held prior to the service, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway N., Allen, Texas 75013.
