Funeral Services for Ruby Evelyn Williams Ferguson, 78 year old Leonard resident, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday November 5, 2016 at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard. Charles Wrenn will officiate. Burial will be in the Leonard Cemetery. Family visitation will be Saturday November 5, 2016 from 1:00 P.M. until service time.
Ruby was born June 23, 1938 at Weatherford. Her parents were M.J. and Ollie Ercell Maynard Williams. She married A.B. Ferguson September 13, 1958 at Leonard. She worked as a school librarian for Leonard ISD for 27 years, was a member of Eastern Star and a member of the Highland Terrace Baptist Church in Greenville. She passed away Tuesday November 1, 2016 at Legend Healthcare and Rehabilitation of Greenville.
She is survived by her husband: A.B. Ferguson of Leonard; her son and daughter-in-law: Chris and Cindy Ferguson of Allen; her daughter and son-in-law: Kim and Lory Foster of Campbell; her brother and sister-in-law: Charles and Sue Williams of Weatherford; her sister-in-law: Erna Lea Ferguson of Leonard; her grandsons: Jordan Foster and wife, Patti, of Dallas, Cameron Foster of Campbell, Scott Tomlinson and Matthew Tomlinson both of Allen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
