Ruby May Holt Donihoo was born April 16, 1945 at Leonard, Texas to Warren Holt and Flossie Daughrity Holt. She died Sunday, March 6, 2011 after a lengthy illness at Texas Health Presbyterian - WNJ in Sherman, Texas at the age of 65. She was a long time resident of Tom Bean. Ruby married Robert Donihoo in 1960 with whom she had their four children. After Robert passed away in 1980 she later married, Kenneth Donihoo who preceded her in 2006. She is survived by daughter, Loretta Anderson and husband Brad of Sherman; daughter, Carla Hickman of Sherman; son, Robert Donihoo and wife Sandra of Pueblo, Colorado; grandchildren, Don Owens; Kayla and Cassidy Anderson; Erica and Zach Lea; Ashley Eitelman; Kenny and Jesse Donihoo; Kris and Keith Lea; Michael, Nichole and Dustin Hickman; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Stella Garcia of Arlington; sister, Helen Smithson of New Boston; sister, Loretta Taylor of Bonham; brother, Kenneth Holt of Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert; husband Kenneth; daugher, Judy Lea; brother, Jack Holt; sister, Shirley Crawford; sister, Sue Wilson; brother, Warren Holt Jr.; and brother, Gene Holt. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Whitewright, Texas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Sara Hardaway. Burial will follow at Burns Cemetery in Trenton, Texas. Pallbearers will be Don Owens, Zach Lea, Kenny Donihoo, Jesse Donihoo, Nailen Eitelman, and Earnest Wright. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Tuesday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday, March 8, 2010 from 6-8pm at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Whitewright, Texas.
