Ruby Bounds, age 92, of Plano, Texas, passed away July 1, 2008, in Plano. Ruby was born May 7, 1916 in Melissa, Texas, to Samuel and Lillian (Moyers) Dickenson. She married Poston B. Bounds on March 27, 1947, in McKinney, Texas. Ruby was a member of Northwest Christian Church and a valedictorian at Chambersville High School. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Yarbrough and husband Robert, of Plano, Texas; grandsons, Robbie Yarbrough and wife, Stehle, Jason Murphy, and Joel Murphy; great-grandson, Blake Yarbrough; numerous other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Poston B. Bounds, daughter, Debra Murphy, brothers, Raymond Dickenson, Winfrey Dickenson, Charlie Dickenson, and Thomas Dickenson, sisters, Ernestine Shaw, Kathryn Graves, and Lillian Dickenson. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 3, 2008, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Rev. David Kautt officiating. Interment to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday evening beginning at 6:00 P.M.
