Ruben Roman Gomez, born on February 5, 1958, in Sain Bajo, Mexico, peacefully passed away on June 20, 2026, in McKinney, Texas. He was a cherished member of his family and community, known for his unwavering dedication and hardworking spirit in the construction industry.

Ruben took immense pride in his skills, enjoying maintenance and repairs around the home, as well as tending to his cherished garden. He looked forward to weekend barbecues, relishing every moment spent with his family. Above all, he had a profound love for music and dancing, often filling his home with joy and rhythm.

Ruben is survived by his beloved spouse, Gregoria Roman, and their children: Maria Roman, Ruben Roman, Eloy Roman, Geovanni Roman, Gabriel Roman, Rolando Roman, Juan Roman, Jose Carmelo Roman, and Leticia Roman. He also leaves behind his mother, Maria Gomez, and his siblings: Rosario Roman, Rigoberto Roman, Patricia Roman, Manuel Roman, and Avanjelina Roman. Ruben's legacy extends through his family, who will carry forward his values of hard work, love, and dedication.

Ruben was preceded in death by: Manuel Lopez, Griselda Roman, Silvia Roman, Carmelo Roman, Juan Roman, Benito Roman, Rito Roman

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, July 6, 2026 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location. 

In accordance with his wishes, Ruben will be cremated following the service. His family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate his life and the memories they shared together.

The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
