The laughter has quieted and there are no more tales and sayings to listen to. Our Lord has called him home. Lynn passed away peacefully on July 15, 2022 in McKinney, Texas surrounded by family. Lynn was born October 19, 1953, in Dallas Texas, the middle of three sons to Gomer Neal White and May Louise “Sue” Easley.
Lynn was a member of UA Local 100 for over 40 years and held a Master Plumber’s license. He spent most of his career as a Field Superintendent for mechanical contractors in the Dallas area. He finished out his career with Schneider Electric as a Site Manager which gave him the opportunity to work with his son and his younger brother.
Lynn followed in his father’s footsteps and became a Mason. Masonry was dear to him and he embraced the idea of Masonry making good men better men and serving their community. He was a member of Allen Lodge No. 1435 A.F. & A.M and served as Worshipful Master during the 2012-2013 Masonic year.
The love and pride he felt for his children was endless and they brought him great joy and peace. They were able to spend genuine quality time with him at the end.
As a son, father, brother, uncle, friend, stranger, and neighbor, Lynn was always eager and available to help. He gave so much more than he took.
Hunting and fishing were at the top of his list of things to enjoy. The deer lease he went to outside of Sonora, Texas for over 30 years was his happy place. He took his then girlfriend Kimberly there for the first time in 1989 when it was only 2 degrees and the only facilities at that time was an outhouse, and she still wanted to go back. She was a keeper. They were married August 24, 1996. They laughed, loved, and dreamed. They were a team and best friends.
Lynn was preceded in death by his father. Lynn is survived by his mother, Sue, and his wife, Kimberly. He is survived by his son, Shane and wife Deanna and his daughter Brandi. He is also survived by his brothers Steve and wife Janie and Scott and wife Leslie. Lynn is survived by his grandchildren Natalie, Travis, and Amanda.
