Roy was born on June 2, 1962 in Mckinney, Texas to father, Curtis Wendall Eaves and Mother, Patricia Taylor Eaves. He grew up in a large, loving family with two sisters; Cindy Duer (husband) Ronnie, Toni Ponse (husband) Santso and two brothers; William Curtis Eaves (wife) Trudy, David Eaves (wife) Shelly.

Roy married Clara Gordon Eaves on March 20,1987. Roy and Clara rasied two children Lauren Eaves and Jacob Eaves.

Roy will forever be remembered as a loving father, husband and Paw Paw. He will be remembered by his unfailing work ethic and love for the family farm. He will be remembered for gis joking ways and wildly entertaining stories and will be remembered for his willingness to help at anytime of day or night. NO QUESTIONS asked he would just say "Ain't a problem."

Roy had four grandchildren Chloe, Dawsyn, Conley and Cohen who were his world. 

Roy is preceded in death by his father Curtis Wendall Eaves, his grandparents Bill and Jaunita Taylor and grandparents, Curtis and Mildred Eaves.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday Oct 14, 2020 at 9:30am at Trinity Baptist Church in Farmersville, TX. The Funeral Service will follow at 10:30 am and the Burial will be at I.O.O.F Cemetery in Farmersville, TX.
