Rosina “Rose” Marie Lorenz passed away on December 15, 2025, in McKinney, TX at the age of 70. She was born on February 6, 1955, in Sewickley, PA, to Vincent Rivetti and Miriam (Rivetti) Temchulla, both who preceded her in death. Rose was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend.
On June 19, 1982, Roger Lorenz and Rose Rivetti embarked on a journey filled with shared dreams and unwavering support. Together, they cultivated a warm and nurturing home, where Rose was a devoted partner, endearing mother to Carianne, who completed their family, and a guiding light for her grandchildren.
A founding member of St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, Rose’s faith in God and dedication to her fellow parishioners was the guiding light in her life. She will be remembered for her compassion and kindness. Rose’s character shines through in the lives she touched, and she will be dearly missed and always in the hearts of her family and friends.
Rose’s precious grandchildren were the most important people in her life. Blair, Chloe, Daphne and Harrison (all from WI) brought her great happiness and joy. She spoke of them often and was always there to support and celebrate their accomplishments.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Lorenz of McKinney, TX; daughter, Carianne Nicole Lorenz of Merrill, WI (Jeremy); sister, Kathleen Edge (Dennis) of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; brother, Louis Rivetti (Janette) of Snohomish, WA; mother-in-law, Delores Lorenz of Youngtown, AZ; sister-in-law, Debra (Lorenz) Lesko (Joe) of Peoria, AZ; sister-in-law, Donna Lorenz (Bill) of Youngtown, AZ; brother-in-law, Ronald Lorenz (Isaura) of Sun City, AZ; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Donald N. Lorenz and stepfather, Stephen Temchulla.
The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, January 16, 2026, at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, 110 St. Gabriel Way, McKinney, Texas 75071. We invite all who knew and loved Rose to come together to celebrate her remarkable life and to honor the cherished memories we hold in our hearts.
