Rosie Rodriguez, a cherished resident of McKinney, Texas, passed away on November 5, 2024, at the age of 51. Born on June 22, 1973, in McKinney, Rosie was the beloved daughter of Antonio Davila Casarez and Ana Maria (Gomez) Casarez.

Rosie grew up in McKinney and graduated from McKinney High School, where she first displayed the determination that would characterize her life. Known for her hard work and dedication, she began her career at Magnetic Tech, later continuing with Spang when the company acquired Magnetic Tech, where she eventually rose to the position of manager. Her coworkers remember her as a dedicated leader with a strong work ethic and a quick mind.

In Dallas, Rosie met the love of her life, Gilbert Rodriguez, and the two quickly became best friends. Married for over two decades, Rosie and Gilbert built a life centered around love, laughter, and family. Together, they were blessed with two children, Amanda and Anthony, who were the center of Rosie’s world. Fiercely devoted to her family, Rosie was known for her strength, her openness, and her boundless love. She had a remarkable ability to make her thoughts known, ensuring there was never any doubt about her affection for those she held dear.

Rosie’s creative spirit found expression in her passion for fashion. She loved watching TV shows for inspiration, often designing beautiful outfits with her own unique flair. In addition to her love of fashion, she was an exceptional cook, known for preparing the most delicious meals. Family and friends could always count on her for a warm, welcoming meal, and she made sure everyone left her home well-fed and cared for.

Rosie Rodriguez is survived by her husband, Gilbert Rodriguez of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Amanda Medina of Princeton, Texas; Anthony Rodriguez of McKinney, Texas; mother, Maria Casarez Princeton, Texas; brother, Mark Casarez (Patricia) of McKinney, Texas; sister, Connie Casarez of Princeton, Texas; brother, Joshua Casarez (Maritza) of Anna, Texas; sister, Rosanna Stornello (Julian) of Princeton, Texas; nieces and nephews, Anastacia, Alyssa, Brittany, Marcus, Adrien, Matthew, Tristan, Jacob, and Lily; great nephew and nieces, Michael, Janyssa, Elijah, Zayden, and Aviana; and a host of other numerous loving family and friends.

Rosario was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, November 15, 2024 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.

The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
