IN LOVING MEMORY

Rosalie Ann Kuklinski Lynch

Dec 09 1937 - Jan 18 2026

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, Rosalie Ann Kuklinski Lynch—a radiant light of beauty, unconditional love, and unwavering strength—peacefully left her earthly body on Sunday evening, January 18, 2026, at the age of eighty-eight, surrounded by her devoted children. Her enduring love, a sacred gift from God, now rests with Him and remains forever etched in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Rosalie, the eldest of two children born to Mary Medved and Raymond Kuklinski, both of proud Polish heritage, was born in 1937 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After graduating from Pulaski High School—where she proudly reigned as the Water Ballet Queen—she attended Wisconsin State College. With an adventurous spirit and an eagerness to experience more of the world, Rosalie soon set her sights beyond Wisconsin. A visit to Dallas, Texas, changed the course of her life—she knew the South would become her home and the place where she would build her family and a lifelong career in the travel industry.

In 1960, while working in Dallas as a ticketing agent for Braniff International Airways, Rosalie met Henry Van Lynch, Jr., also a Braniff agent. It was truly love at first sight. They married shortly thereafter in February 1962 and began raising their family together. Once her children entered elementary school, and with her passion for travel still calling, Rosalie embarked on a remarkable forty-year career as a corporate international travel agent, working for Texas Instruments and American Express Travel. Through her work, Rosalie—and those fortunate enough to travel with her—experienced countless adventures around the globe, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

After becoming a widow, Rosalie devoted her life wholeheartedly to her children, her granddaughter, and her many lifelong friends, several of whom preceded her in death. She was a second mother to her children’s closest friends, offering guidance, comfort, and unconditional care. In the later years of her life, Rosalie bravely battled and overcame cancer, continuing to live independently with her characteristic courage, resilience, and zest for life.

Rosalie lived selflessly, embodying grace, wisdom, and quiet strength. Her most cherished roles were at the heart of her family, leaving no doubt that you were deeply and unconditionally loved. She expressed her love through action—preparing your favorite meal (BBQ ribs, lasagna, or potato salad), baking a special dessert for your birthday or for no reason at all, and finding ways to make each day feel special. She thoughtfully selected gifts that were meaningful and personal, as giving to others brought her the greatest joy.

She loved mystery novels, fresh flowers, British television shows, and her adoring feline companion, Howard. Her laughter and sense of humor were truly one of a kind, capable of brightening even the darkest days. Above all, Rosalie treasured time spent with her family, while always keeping close in her heart those who left too soon—especially her beloved daughter Elizabeth Ann and the love of her life, Henry Van Lynch, Jr.

Rosalie is survived by her loving children, Van Raymond Lynch of Dallas, Texas, and Jennifer Mary Lynch of Chester Springs, Pennsylvania; her beloved granddaughter, Nicole Elizabeth Austin (fiancée Anthony Juhasz) of Chester Springs, Pennsylvania; her dear brother, Raymond Allen Kuklinski (Sharon) of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; and many close friends and extended family members who will forever miss her.

A memorial service and celebration of Rosalie’s remarkable life will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas, on Saturday, February 7, at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Rosalie’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society, or that you share your favorite memories and photographs on this site to help keep Rosalie’s beautiful spirit alive. The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Marsha’s obituary page by clicking on the following link:  https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/rosalie-ann-kuklinski-lynch.
