Mr. Ronald N. Thompson, 56, of McKinney, Texas, died June 4, 2004, at his home. He was born December 24,1947, in Robersonville, N. C. He is a graduate of Duke University and his graduate work was completed at Clemson and Furman Universities. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Maybell Harris Thompson, sister, Janie Lou Mizelle, and brothers, Curtis and Charles. He is survived by his wife, Ann Cobb Thompson, and sons, David and Edward and his wife, Kerri and their son, Noah. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M., Sunday, June 6, 2004, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Interment will be at Parkton Cemetery, Parkton, N.C.
