Ronald “Ron” Scott Capps, Sr., age 72, of Princeton, Texas, passed away January 23, 2018. Ronald was born October 13, 1945, in McKinney, Texas, to Albert James and Willie Mae (Keller) Capps. He married Connie Hale on February 19, 1994, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ron was a master machinist for over fifty years.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Capps of Princeton, Texas; children, LaShauna Sexton of Allen, Texas, Tina Taylor of Anna, Texas, Rolanda Cohea of McKinney, Texas, Tanya Capps of Princeton, Crissy Minnett and husband, John of Farmersville, Texas, Scott Capps and wife, Kristen of Canton, Texas, Cary Davis and wife, Jackie of Anna, Texas, Dalton Davis and wife, Alicia of Westminster, and Natalie Dixon of Princeton; twenty-four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Shirley Shuler and husband, Rick of Richardson, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mae and June Capps and a grandson.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at Wilson Chapel Cemetery in Lowry Crossing, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
