Ronald Wayne Jackson, age 57, of McKinney, Texas, passed away May 8, 2008, in Denton, Texas. Ronald was born February 6, 1951, in McKinney, Texas, to Bowie and Hueline (Kirkum) Jackson. He married Brenda Goodman on October 11, 1995 in McKinney, Texas. Ronald was a truck driver and a member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church where he was an ordained deacon.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Jackson, of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Lisa Washington of McKinney, Texas; son, Manuel Washington and his wife, Joella of Seagoville, Texas; daughter, Roslyn Washington of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Creasha Harris of McKinney, Texas; son, Lawaylyn Harris also of McKinney; nine grandchildren; sisters, Margie Burleson of DeSoto, Texas, Barbara Grant of Norfolk, Virginia, Beverly Jackson, Janice Jeter, and Bernice Bell, all of McKinney, Texas; brothers, Bowie Jackson, Jr. of Los Angeles, California, Billy Ray Jackson of McKinney, Texas, and Ricky Morris Jackson of Dallas, Texas; and numerous other loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bowie and Hueline Jackson, brother, Reginald Jackson, grandchild, Stacey Washington, and sister, Emma Maureen Jackson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 15, 2008, at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in McKinney, Texas with Rev. J. H. Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 beginning at 7:00 PM.
