Roland S. Hamons, age 64, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on May 22, 2022, in Frisco, Texas. He was born October 21, 1957, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Forrest Hamons and Joan (Hyden) Hamons. Roland married Monique (Blasko) Hamons on May 22, 1992, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Roland worked as a Service Advisor in the Automotive Industry for 45 years. He was a wordsmith who could enrapture and captivate all who he came in contact with. He treasured spending time with his family, and he was most at peace while leading them through expeditions in the woods, wilderness, and waters of the world.
Roland is survived by his wife, Monique Hamons of Frisco, Texas, and was surrounded in love by Esther Hamons, Naomi Hamons, and Samuel Hamons when he passed peacefully at home. He leaves behind his six children, grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister; Debbie Hamons; brother; Jr. Hamons and numerous nieces and nephews.
Roland was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Hamons; father, Forrest Hamons; sisters, Betty Hamons and Karen Hamons; brother, Walter Hamons.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway N. Allen, TX 75013.
