Roger Irvin Liudahl

Roger Irvin Liudahl of Anna, Texas passed away on September 10, 2021 in Denison, Texas at the age of 80. He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on March 23, 1941 to Irvin Melbourne and Amy Irene (Wright) Liudahl. Roger graduated from Central High School in Minneapolis in 1959.  He married Shirley Slechta on March 3, 1962.  They had three children, Kim, Brent and Shannon.

Roger had a long career in Real Estate Development and was a partner of Bill Sportsman Real Estate for over 25 years.  He was an avid outdoorsman. Roger enjoyed hunting, boating, and water skiing.  He was active in Ducks Unlimited and White Tails Unlimited.  Roger was a very gifted carpenter. He could build anything. Roger built three of the homes the family lived in and also built various projects for his family. 

Roger is survived by Shirley Liudahl; daughter, Kim Phillips and husband, Leeton of Saint Jo, Texas; son, Brent Liudahl and wife, Angela of Anna, Texas; daughter, Shannon Liudahl and John Wray of Gun Barrel City, Texas; brother, Dennis Liudahl of Minneapolis, Minnesota; grandchildren, Taylar and Trey Norman of Aubrey, Texas, Matthew Creecy of Sulphur Springs, Texas; and William Phillips and wife, Alli of Highland Village, Texas; great grandchildren, Sloan Phillips and Nathaniel Norman; 2 nephews,  and a host of other loving family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the Ridgeview Memorial Park Pavilion, 2525 Central Expressway North Allen, Texas 75013. The service is available at the following livestream link; https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/roger-irvin-liudahl.
