Roger Dean Terry, age 65, of Celina, Texas, passed away January 30, 2026. Roger was born January 4, 1961, in Mobile, Alabama, to William B. Terry and Mable Agnes O’Dell. He was a master electrician in the construction industry.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Harper of Celina, Texas; daughter, Cassie Calhoun and husband, Clay of Flower Mound, Texas; grandchildren, Ashlynn Duckworth, Dallas Calhoun, Cadence Calhoun, A. J. Calhoun, Grayson Price, and Anthony Seguin; sisters, Rebecca Harville, Michelle Snider, and Debbie Schlosser; and cousin, Margaret Shirley.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mable O'Dell, and sister, Theresa Young.
My dad was my hero long before I knew what heroes were. Strong, stubborn, funny, and known for the very best bear hugs. He loved coming over on weekends, tormenting the dogs, aggravating the kids, and fixing any and everything with electrical tape. He loved Vicki deeply and never looked happier than when they were together, especially on their trips to the casino. His grandchildren were his whole world, and he wore the title of Pawpaw with the highest honor. And if there was food nearby, it probably needed more salt. We will miss his stubborn ways, his laughter, and his love fiercely. Until we meet again. Roll Tide!
