Bobbie Rolfe

February 5, 1948 - February 8, 2021

Roberta “Bobbie” Irene Rolfe, age 73, of The Colony, Texas, passed away on February 8, 2021, in Plano, Texas. She was born on February 5, 1948, to Robert Hanisch and Lois Rohrberg in Council Bluffs, Iowa. In the summer of 1968, Bobbie married her eternal sweetheart and best friend Johnny Edwin Rolfe in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

A dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Bobbie was the epitome of selfless and unconditional love. A true beacon of love and hope, her absence will be missed immensely, but her legacy of perseverance and giving spirit will be everlasting.

Bobbie is survived by her three children, Jeffrey Rolfe and his spouse, Kim of Frisco, Texas, Tracie Rolfe of Denton, Texas, Brian Rolfe and his spouse, Cory Black of Garland, Texas; her six grandchildren, Amber Pierce and her spouse, Garrett, Jennifer Rolfe, Alissa Coronado, Ashton Coronado, Jake Rolfe, and Ireland Fitzgibbon; her great-grandchild, Parker Pierce; six siblings, Lois Payton, Kathleen Rossbund and her spouse, Horst, Christine Merrill, Johnny Hanisch, Mary Dierks, and Jimmy Hanisch; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, John Edwin Rolfe; her mother, Lois Hanisch; father-in-law, Walter Rolfe and mother-in-law, Betty Rolfe; and sister, Carol Osbourn.

A “come and go” visitation will be held on Friday, February 19th, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Dr., Frisco, Texas 75034. Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.

Chapel services and remembrance will be held on Saturday, February 20th at 2:00 p.m. with Deacon Tomas Baca presiding at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Dr., Frisco, Texas 75034.
