Robert Odell Tadlock

September 30, 1952 - October 12, 2020

Robert Odell Tadlock, Sr. of Gordonville, Texas passed away on October 12, 2020 at the age of 68. He was born on September 30, 1952 to Henry Lee and Myrtle Marzella (Ross) Tadlock in McKinney, Texas.  Robert was a veteran of the United States Navy as a Bos’n Mate.  He was currently working for TASWA as a truck driver.  He was an avid motorcycle rider.  He loved the outdoors especially taking care of Wanda’s yard.  Most of all he loved being with his family. Robert was a member of Cook County Cowboy Church and was in church every Sunday morning.

He is survived by his children, Robert Odell Tadlock, Jr. and wife, Stephanie of Eagle, Colorado, Jessie Tadlock of Gordonville, Texas , Stephanie Tadlock and her better half, Raymond Dunaway of Bandera, Texas, Garrett Tadlock and wife, Melinda of Crockett, Texas; grandchildren, Grady Tadlock, Maverick Tadlock, Preston Tadlock, Levi Tadlock, Josiah Morrison, Breannah Morrison, and Wyatt Davis; brother, Travis Tadlock and wife, Joyce of Princeton, TX, sisters, Ophelia Godwin of Princeton, Texas, Mamie Cook and husband, Troy of McKinney, Texas and Wanda Davis of Whitesboro, Texas; and numerous other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by parents, Henry Lee and Myrtle Tadlock; brothers, Eugene, Harold, J.B., James, Jerry, Densil and John Tadlock; sisters, Lorene and Hazel; brother-in-law, Buzz Davis, Frank Parrent; sister-in-law, PhyllisTadlock, Ruth Tadlock, and Joyce Tadlock.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, October 16, 2020, at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, the following are Ridgeview Memorial Parks guidelines. All are invited to attend the Graveside Service, maintaining social distancing or you may remain in your vehicle. You will be able to listen to the service through speakers set up at the gravesite.

I remember Robert, he was always a kind spirit , What I remember most it is that big smile He always kept on his face. He was very kind hearted soul.
