Robert Paul "Bob" Drujon

Robert Paul “Bob” Drujon of Frisco, Texas passed away on June 8, 2020 at the age of 77. He was born on December 20, 1942 to Pierre Drujon and Beatrice (Gibson) Drujon in Saintes, France. Bob attended Lafayette College, George Washington University, and Harvard University. He graduated from Amberton University with his bachelor’s degree. Bob proudly served his country in the Air Force in the Vietnam War from 1966-1967. Bob was known as “Poparoni” by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved to travel, all things French, being American, reading, food, cooking, cruises, Spags, Goodwill, lottery tickets, Chinese buffets, Bridge, hosting, waffles, and bread. His latest passion was perfecting the baguette.  Most of all, Bob loved his family.

Bob is survived by his life partner, Linda Bucaram of Frisco, Texas; sons, Larry Strasner and wife, Marji of Framingham, Massachussetts and Michael Strasner and wife, Hillary of Colleyville, Texas; daughters, Danielle Drujon Gould and husband, Ed Salazar of Key West, Florida and Candide Drujon-Mullin and husband, Chris of Tallahassee, Florida; grandchildren, Rachel Gawlak, Hannah Kerstetter, Jonathan Strasner, Laura Ogata, Sara Strasner, Nicholas Strasner, Savannah Strasner, Andrew Bell, Haley Bell, Conner Bell, Ethan Drujon Gould, Emily Sofia Gould, Mila Jolie Mullin, and Luke Hudson Mullin; Linda’s children, Lisa Hinojosa and husband, Ed of San Antonio, Texas, Lori Tomberlin and husband, Steve of Katy, Texas, Karla Connally of McKinney, Texas, Michael Bucaram of Sachse, Texas, Christopher Bucaram of Sachse, Texas, and Terry Martin and husband, Carl of Falkville, Alabama; Linda’s grandchildren, Jonathon Hinojosa, Rachel Hinojosa, Kenneth Connally, Kevin Connally, Katherine McKenna, Matthew Tomberlin, James McAlpin, John Tyson, and Zac Martin; great-grandchildren, Selah, Mayim, Adinah, Milo, Leo, Luca, William, Jace, Cyrus, and Emilia; brother, Richard Drujon and wife, Joan of France; and sisters, Annette Durieux and Helene Drujon, both of France.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pierre and Beatrice Drujon and his brother, Philip Drujon.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of invited guests will be allowed to attend the Memorial Service.

The memorial service will also be live streamed on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. on the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Facebook page and a recorded video will be available following the funeral service on Bob’s obituary page.

However, those who would like to honor Bob and show their support to his family may come to the funeral home where ample parking is available. While you remain in your vehicle, you may watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.
