IN LOVING MEMORY

Robert Ruebhausen

Jan 17 1952 - Sep 01 2025

Robert Dale Ruebhausen, 73, of Princeton, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on September 1st, 2025. He was born on January 17th, 1952, in San Bernardino, California, to his loving parents Frederick Paul and Dorothy (Ovenden) Ruebhausen.

Robert proudly served his country in the United States Navy. After his time in the service, he worked as a machinist with Amgen and Boeing, where his hard work and dedication shone through for many years. On November 9th, 1996, Robert married the love of his life, Maria Viray, in San Diego, California, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and family.

Robert was a man with a big heart and a great sense of humor. He loved playing poker with friends, cheering on his beloved Dodgers, and telling jokes that kept everyone around him smiling. One of his greatest joys in life was coaching Little League, where he not only taught kids the game but also touched countless lives with his encouragement and kindness.

He also loved to travel and explore the outdoors, especially hiking, always making wonderful memories with those he loved most. Robert’s laughter, love of life, and playful spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Robert is deeply loved and will be forever missed by his wife, Maria Ruebhausen of Princeton, Texas; his son, Aaron Ruebhausen and wife Nina of Frisco, Texas; his grandchildren, Brittani Algarin of Connecticut and Nichole Algarin of Florida; and his great-grandson, Emilio Algarin, and great-granddaughter, Arianna Algarin, both of Florida. He is also survived by his brother, Richard Ruebhausen and wife Helen of Ocala, Florida; his sister, Jean Grohs and husband David of Yucaipa, California; along with many extended family members and dear friends.

He is reunited in heaven with his parents, Frederick and Dorothy Ruebhausen, and his children, Jeremy O’Connor and Shannon O’Connor.

Robert’s memory will live on in every smile he created, every joke he told, and every life he touched.

A memorial service with Military Honors will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 12, 2025, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
