Robert “Moose” Elliott McAllister

Robert “Moose” Elliott McAllister of Parker, Texas left this world on December 26, 2025, at the age of 83. Moose, as he was affectionately known, was born on October 12, 1942, in Eunice, New Mexico, to Robert and Vanice (Wedge) McAllister.

A proud graduate of White Deer High School in White Deer, Texas, Robert embarked on a journey that led him to earn an associate degree from the Parkland School of Radiology. He married the love of his life, Patricia "Pat" Wheeler, on January 22, 1965, in Dallas, Texas. Together, they nurtured a loving family and shared countless precious moments throughout their life together.

Robert dedicated many years to a fulfilling career in Medical Sales with Dupont. He will be remembered not just for his professional accomplishments, but as a devoted husband, a cherished father, a doting grandfather, and a steadfast friend. Robert will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Pat McAllister; sister, Rita Whitwell and brother in law, Clyde Whitwell, both of Seguin, Texas; sons, Robert McAllister and Marc McAllister, both of Parker, Texas; grandchildren, Bailey McAllister Glab and husband, Kyle Glab, Taylor Marie McAllister, and Carson Wheeler McAllister, all of Austin, Texas; and a host of other loving family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 9, 2026 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
