IN LOVING MEMORY

Robert Louis Kincaid, Jr.

Mar 14 1947 - Jun 19 2023

Robert “Bob” Louis Kincaid, Jr. went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 19, 2023 at the age of 76 in McKinney, Texas. He was born on March 14, 1947 to Robert Louis Kincaid, Sr. and Esther Marion Weakes in McKinney, Texas. After graduation from Sherman High School and a year of study at Bethany Nazarene College, Bob enlisted in the Navy. He served from 1967-1970 on the USS Roosevelt. While at home on leave, he met the love of his life, Carolyn Cain, on a blind “Coke date,” and he married her four months later in January 1971 in McKinney. He then attended and graduated Austin College in 1974 and later earned his MBA from Texas Christian University. Bob worked in retail management for 30 years before entering his self-employed career as a financial advisor. Bob had a love for all things Texas, including Texas history, longhorns, Texas landscapes, and his beloved TCU Horned Frogs. Bob also embraced his heritage as a third generation Chickasaw Indian. He had an appreciation for cycling, a good meal, great music, art history, and most importantly, studying God’s Word. Bob loved the Lord, and he was a longtime faithful member and leader in Bible Study Fellowship. He led Bible studies and taught Sunday school for many years. Bob was a member at Park Cities Presbyterian Church and the Good News Class.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Kincaid of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Emily Youngblood and husband, Dave of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Kathryn Goldsmith and husband, J.P. of Plano, Texas; brother, James “Jamie” Kincaid and wife, Linda of OKC, Oklahoma; sister, Kay Ann Porter and husband, Rusty of Saginaw, Texas; grandsons, Jackson Youngblood of McKinney, Texas and Henry Goldsmith of Plano, Texas; granddaughters, Samantha Youngblood of McKinney, Texas and Hazel Goldsmith of Plano, Texas; sisters-in-law, Beverly Lee and Lynne Cain, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other loving family and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Louis Kincaid, Sr. and Esther Marion Weakes.

After a mission trip to Tanzania, Africa in 2010, the people of the local church gained a special place in his heart, and he continued to support missions in Tanzania.
