Funeral Services for Robert Lee “Buck” Evans, 84 year old Greenville resident, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday February 20, 2010 at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard. Rev. Jim McIntire will officiate. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery at Farmersville. Family visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time Saturday February 20th. Mr. Evans was born January 1, 1926 at Farmersville, Texas. His parents were Robert Lee and Bertie Stevens Evans. He was a member of the Baptist Church and an automobile mechanic. He served his country as a member of the United States Army and he had been a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 26 years. He passed away Thursday February 18th at his residence. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law: Maxine and Odell Wilder of McKinney, Texas and by a nephew: Randall Wilder of McKinney, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home of Leonard to help with funeral expenses. Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
