Robert Sievers of Dallas, Texas passed away on April 15, 2017 at the age of 53. He was born on October 16, 1963 to Kenneth and Dianne (Smillie) Sievers in San Jose, California. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army infantry as a Drill Sergeant from 1983 until 1992. He received his MBA, and Juris Doctor from SMU Law. Robert was a Contract Administrator for Panda Power Funds in Dallas, Texas. He loved his family, his friends, his country, fine dining and his most precious love, his granddaughter Juno.
Robert is survived by his son, Joshua Paul Sievers of Kentucky; granddaughter, Juno Rhea Leigh Sievers of Dallas; sisters, Molly Van Horn and husband, Jim of New Jersey, Jenny Taylor of Dallas; brother, Peter Sievers and wife, Meredith Schilder of Idaho; aunt, Sharron Smillie of Mt. Vernon; special friends, Richard and Peggy Adkins of Dallas, Kandace Swonger of Rowlett. Shanna and "birthday buddy" Broc Stjernhom of Forney, Brooke Collier of Dallas; and numerous other loving friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Sievers; his mother, Dianne Sievers; his sister, Kathleen Taylor; and his uncles, Paul Smillie and Shawn Smillie.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
