IN LOVING MEMORY

Robert Keith Jordan

Dec 17 1957 - Feb 02 2022

Keith was born to Kenneth and Kathleen Jordan on December 17, 1957 in San Antonio, Texas. He was the second of 6 children. Keith was preceded in death by both parents and survived by his siblings Karen Neathery of Lago Vista, Karla Jordan of Leander, Darla Kittrell of Bedford, and twins, Kendra Bissell of Cypress and Kenneth Jordan of Caddo Mills Virginia Jordan, stepmother and 2 step brothers Ken and Craig McKnight. All are Texas.

Keith always loved the outdoors. Fishing, camping and family vacations were his favorite past times. He was equipped with a fishing pole at the creek behind the house, at Lake Lewisville or Lake Dallas, with his big sister. They would go late at night, after he talked her into taking him fishing because he wasn't old enough to drive. His home, in Whitewright, was often home to litters of kittens, or baby raccoons, under the porch, and an abundance of wildlife in the peaceful surroundings of his home.

Keith attended and graduated from J.J. Pearce High School in 1977. This was where his life's work began by taking woodworking "shop class". That became his passion and ultimately his calling.

In the early years he started by making furniture and worked for small cabinet shops that came and went. Then, he was hired by Daycor Enterprises in Melissa, Texas where he honed his craft and became a master craftsman for the rest of his life. He was a perfectionist, just like his father. This was his "home" for more than 25 years. His coworkers, and neighbors were his extended family.

Keith was a very private man. He was always single. He had little contact with his siblings but always kept his father close. He loved his family and knew his family loved him dearly.

Share your stories with his family so that they may build a "book" of Keith's life. Include who you are, friend, neighbor, coworker or client and tell everyone how he touched your life. Please sign the visitor's page and share your memories below in the Memorials, if you like. Thank you for your friendships and your love and support.

Graveside Services will be held 2pm Monday, February 21, 2022 at Stoney Point Cemetery, 8241 CR 1095, Anna, TX 75409.
