Robert Thomas Davis, age 74, of Fairview, Texas passed away October 21, 2009. He was born December 9, 1934 in Abilene, Texas to Robert Terrell and Rosa (Cozart) Davis. On June 9, 1991 he married Sue Ann Wilcox in Plano, Texas. Bob graduated from Abilene High School and Abilene Christian University. He retired as a chief financial officer. Bob “Whitey” was an avid golfer, and loved to work in the yard. He had a passion for all sports and enjoyed coaching little league baseball when his sons were young. He is survived by his wife, Sue Davis of Fairview, Texas; sons, Jim Davis of Mustang, Oklahoma, Dave Davis and wife, Vikki of Aubrey, Texas; daughter, Lori Handy and husband, Greg of Noble, Oklahoma; step-son, Chad Anderson and wife, Claire of North Richland Hills, Texas; grandchildren, Traisha Martin, D.J. and Kyler Handy, Kendall Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Rosa Davis. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 24, 2009 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Bill Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas. Bob was well loved by his wife, family and friends. He will be missed by all.
