Robert C. Seaman

Robert C. Seaman of Fairview, Texas passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020 at the age of 72.  He was born March 17, 1948 to J.C. Seaman, Jr. and Martha (Lancaster) Seaman in Ferriday, Louisiana.  His childhood was spent in Waterproof, Louisiana.  The family moved to Gulfport, Mississippi where Bob completed high school.  Afterwards, the family moved to Ruston, Louisiana and he attended Louisiana Tech University.  It was here Bob met the love of his life and wife of 47 years, Andrea Brocato. 

They moved extensively through the years for Bob’s profession in the insurance industry.  He served as manager to several companies to being a Vice President in his later years.  This job fit Bob well, as he never met a stranger and was very personable.

Bob was a great father to his two children, Shannon and Joe. He was PTA President and soccer coach to show his love and support for many years.  Bob’s grandchildren were his pride and joy.  When they lived in Germany for three years, he and Andrea made several special trips abroad to visit them. 

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Andrea Seaman; daughter, Shannon Hansen and husband, Colonel Richard Hansen of Holly Ridge, North Carolina; son, Joseph Kelly of Huntsville, Alabama; grandchildren, Christian Hansen, Allison Hansen and Hailey Hansen.  Bob is also survived by his twin brother, Bill Seaman and brother, Carryl Seaman and wife, Mary Ann; and numerous cousins.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Martha Seaman.

His service will be a private event at Saint Jude Catholic Church in Allen, Texas.

Memorial donations in Robert’s name may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Allen Community Outreach (Food Pantry) at 801 East Main Street, Allen, Texas 75002.
