Robert Mayo Brochu

Robert Mayo Brochu, age 70, of McKinney, Texas passed away February 18, 2013. He was born May 9, 1942 in Springfield, Massachusetts to Laurette Lacasse (Noel) Brochu and Mayo Joseph Brochu. Robert proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. On July 9, 1966, he married Wynne Goff in Lawrence, Kansas. He graduated from American International College and went on to a career in pharmaceutical sales. Meanwhile, he turned his golfing skills into a fine art. His career led him to North Texas, where he continued to play golf. He later worked at Oak Hollow Golf Course in McKinney.

 

He is survived by his wife, Wynne Brochu of McKinney, Texas; son, Dr. Christopher Brochu of Iowa City, Iowa; daughters, Michelle C. Brochu Westwood of Mesquite, Texas, Jacquelyn A. Cody and husband, Clinton of Misawa, Japan; grandsons, Ian Cody, Garett Cody and Trey Westwood; mother, Laurette Brochu Lynch of Agawam, Massachusetts and sister, Louise C. Brochu of Agawam, Massachusetts.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mayo Joseph Brochu.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, February 21, 2013 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel.

The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.

Wynne, I've been thinking of you so much in recent weeks. It must be a very difficult time in so many ways. He was very lucky to have you and no doubt you felt the same way about him.
