IN LOVING MEMORY

Robb Lubbock Hamilton

Jul 19 1961 - Jan 19 2026

Robb Lubbock Hamilton -- a truly one-of-a-kind husband, dad, and friend -- left us far too soon on January 19, 2026, at the age of 64. Born in Houston, Texas, on July 19, 1961, and grew up in Richardson, Texas. Robb had a gift for making everyone feel like an old friend with his warm smile and big heart and when it came to his daughter and wife, he loved fiercely.

Robb was always up for an adventure, especially if it involved traveling and seeing new things. He loved being outdoors, whether it was riding a wave runner on the ocean or taking in the quiet beauty of the mountains. Many knew him as an avid sports fan, cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks, so much so that at the tender age of 4, Robb began a tradition of taking his daughter, Morgan, to see Dirk Nowitzki play. Eventually and to his great joy, Morgan adopted his same enthusiasm, like father, like daughter.

Staying active was a big part of Robb’s life. He was a dedicated weightlifter from a young age and could often be found at the gym before work and in recent years, he enjoyed taking evening walks. He cared for all animals including a special love for each dog he took into his care. He never lost his passion for trucks and motorcycles and enjoyed telling the story that in order to buy Lisa’s ring, he sold his favorite Yamaha FZR.

Robb found his calling as a mortgage broker, where he was able to help people achieve their dream of owning a home. He had a knack for solving even the most complicated loan situations and took great pride in assisting people. He didn’t just see them as clients, but as friends he was helping along the way.

Robb will be deeply missed by his wife, Lisa Hamilton; his daughter, Morgan Hughes, and her husband, Austin; his brother, Richard Hamilton; sister, Laurie Hamilton; brother-in-law, Tony Bird (Angie); brother-in-law, Thomas Moa; nephews, Mike Pace, Glenn Collins, Brett Collins, Justin Lahargoue, and Barrett Bird; nieces, Jessica Hamilton, Krissie Causey, and Michelle Nye. He is now reunited with his parents, Bob and Edna Hamilton; his sister, Linda Moa; and his sister-in-law, Judy Hamilton.

Robb’s kindness, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him. If you would like to celebrate Robb with us, the services will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.

Memorial donations are requested to be made in Robb's memory to the American Stroke Association/ASA.
