Rita Faye Welch Harris, age 59, of Bailey, Texas, passed away February 20, 2016. Rita was born February 1, 1957, in McKinney, Texas, to Cecil Ruben and Ruby Lee (Evans) Welch. She married Ronald Glen Harris in January of 1985, in McKinney. Rita was a secretary for Melissa ISD for almost twenty years.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Harris of Bailey, Texas; brothers, Gene Welch and wife, Regina of Trenton, Texas, Ricky Welch of Whitewright, Texas, and Ronnie Welch of Pottsboro, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Ruby Welch and brother, Jerry Welch.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen.
