Ricky Eugene Griffin, 59, of Trenton, Tx, passed away on November 26,2023. He was born on February 16, 1964, in Greenville Tx. Ricky was a loving and caring person who would always lend a helping hand. He had a warm and caring personality, never considering anyone a stranger. Ricky cherished his family and was a dedicated and hardworking individual until cancer took him away.
As a Journeyman Electrician for Camelot Services for many years, he excelled in his career. He was known for his expertise and dedication to his craft. Outside of work, Ricky had a passion for hunting and was a World Champion Coon Hunter. His love for the outdoors and his hunting skills were admired by many.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Diane Griffin of Trenton, his son Cody Griffin of Trenton, stepsons Kevin Dockery and wife Rachael of Whitesboro, and Ryan Dockery and wife Kristin of Trenton. He was a proud grandfather of Sage, Cash, Alex, and Graysyn. Ricky is survived by his brother Ronald Griffin and wife Kim of Trenton, Sister Kristy Gann of Merit. Additionally, he leaves behind several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews who loved him more than he would know.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Ruenell Griffin, his brothers Randy and Michael Griffin, his sister Marilyn Griffin, and daughter in law Lacie Griffin.
The funeral services for Ricky Griffin will be handled by Hurst Fielder Baker, located in Farmersville, Texas. Burial will be at Desert Cemetery.
Ricky will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Keith Thomas, Josh Payne, Ray Risner, Phil McDonald, Keith Griffin, Kyle Griffin, Clint Griffin, and Jonathen Gann.
A visitation will be held at Hurst’s Fielder-Baker Funeral Home on Wednesday December 6, 2023, from 5:30PM to 7:30PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Hurst’s Fielder-Baker on Thursday December 7, 2023, at 2:30PM.
