Richard Ray Elliott of Richardson, Texas passed away on October 2, 2021, at the age of 73. He was born on October 22, 1947 to Lloyd Raymond Elliott and Francis Virginia (Link) Elliott in Enid, Oklahoma. Richard first married Carol Sue Baker in January 31, 1970 in Covington, Oklahoma and had two children, Jeffrey Elliott and Jennifer Elliott.  He later married Patricia Pomatto on February 14, 1986 in Dallas, Texas. He was of Methodist faith.

Richard was an avid sports fan, who loved the Oklahoma Sooners and Dallas Cowboys. He was also an avid fisherman, spending countless weekends fishing and relaxing at his place on Lake Texoma. He was an excellent bowler as well, bowling multiple perfect 300 games in league play and participating in many tournaments over the years. Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the 45th Infantry Division from 1966 to 1972.

Richard worked in sales all of his adult life and was regularly recognized as a top salesman with various companies throughout the years, primarily in the frame and molding industry.

Richard is survived by his wife, Patricia Elliott of Richardson, Texas; son, Jeff Elliott and wife, Amanda of Murphy, Texas; daughter, Jenni Elliott of Dallas, Texas; grandsons, J.J. Elliott of Murphy, Texas, Ty Henderson and Luke Post, both of Dallas, Texas; and his granddaughters, Dylan Post of Dallas, Texas and Presley Elliott of Murphy, Texas.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
