Richard “Rich” Damian Seager

Richard “Rich” Damian Seager, 62, of Allen, Texas passed away on July 4th, 2026.

Born on November 5th, 1963 in Toronto, ONT, Canada, Rich was the beloved son of Clarence & Patricia Seager. He grew up in Ontario, Canada and went on to live a life filled with enjoyment of family, friends, and love/hate of golf.

Rich was known for his humor, strength, work ethic, integrity, and devotion to family . He enjoyed a life outside grilling ribs, air frying turkey, trying different smoking recipes and especially cherished time spent with his family.

Throughout his life, Rich worked in telecom and was admired by many for his dedication, character, and willingness to help others. 

He also loved coaching little league baseball where he coached all three of his boys and sat as President of the ASA Board.

He was active participant in The Evening Allen Lions Club, with his son and close friends, dedicated to serving children within our community. 

Rich is survived by his wife Carolyn(O’Keefe), son Patrick (Kristyn), son Matthew (Virginia), son Jonathan(Sydney), grandchildren Lilliann, Michael, and Frank, parents Clarence and Patricia, sister Lesley(Ed Svetek), three nieces Cassidy(Kri), Tristyn, and Ainsley(Svetek), and three nephews Michael, Cameron, and Zachary(Moriarty).

A moment to remember and share memories of Rich will be held on July 23rd, 2026 at 3:00pm-5:00pm at Kelly’s at the Village, located at 190 E Stacy Rd St 1204,  Allen, Texas 75002. 

If you’d like to do something in remembrance of Rich, the family asks you make a contribution to American Heart Association, American Association for Cancer Research, Lions Club,  your local animal shelter, or your local youth sport association.

Rich will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him and loving him.
