Richard Davidson, 69, beloved husband and father, passed away at home, Friday November 9, 2018 in Plano Texas. He was born September 27, 1949 in Grand Forks, North Dakota and attended Central High School. Richard was a loyal and dedicated employee throughout his career. He was employed by the Pillsbury Company for 20 years, North Dakota State Mill, Central High School and the City of Grand Forks where he retired after 19 years. Richard was also a self-employed residential contractor throughout his entire life. He moved with his family to Texas in 2010.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Mary West; two sons whom he was endlessly proud of, Richard Jr. (Jamie) and Jesse; his two daughters he loved dearly, Angela and Jamie (Mike); five grandchildren, Elleanna, Darian, Julia, Evangeline and Cooper who made his eyes twinkle with pride; brothers, Jeff and Danny Vig and Gene Berglund Jr.; along with ten nephews and four nieces.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lila Berglund; and brothers, David, Michael and Dennis.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Sent Church, 3701 W. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, Texas 75023.
